Imaginary Landscape No2 (19(87) 9)

Approaching the wardrobe, it seems as though light is pouring out from a lit space within and beyond it.  But peering in it turns out to be empty and dark. Your own body interrupts the light which is coming from above and behind you.

Two times or two spaces: of bare matter and of the imagination and longing.

(The image of the lit wardrobe is projected onto the same wardrobe)

The earlier "Imaginary Landscape No 1" consisted of a projector projecting an image of a garden through a window, onto the actual garden.  It has never been exhibited.
